Asbury Park Mardi Gras activities

Join us for an Asbury Park Mardi Gras celebration–free family fun Mardi Gras activities during the day, and a Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball at night!

Here’s some of the daytime Mardi Gras activities:

1:00 to 5:00: Mardi Gras mask decorating and contest

Pick up your free, undecorated mask at Backward Glances, inside the Shoppes at the Arcade, 658 Cookman Avenue. Then visit participating businesses downtown to get free decorations to apply to your mask. Tables with glue will be set up at the Shoppes at the Arcade to design your own special Mardi Gras creation. An adult and kids winner will be chosen at 5:30.

More fun during the afternoon: free face painting by Raven, and strolling musicians from the “Music Save my Life” program!
