Asbury Park Music in Film Festival

It’s almost time for the 2nd Asbury Park Music in Film Festival!
After a great first year, the Asbury Park Music in film Festival will be back in town on April 8th through 10th. It is produced by the Asbury Park Music Heritage Foundation and Sony Pictures Classics, dedicated to bringing people together to share our passion for music and film.
Full schedule is still to be announced, but you know there will be a great assortment of independent films and cool music events around Asbury Park. Actor Don Cheadle will be appearing for the premiere of his new Miles Davis biopic, “Miles Ahead” at the Paramount on Friday April 7th at 7 pm, followed by a question and answer session.
The following screenings will be taking place in our building, the Shoppes at the Arcade at Salt Studios:
Saturday April 9th 12 pm–“The Opening Act”, with a performance by Linda Chorney. Linda was the first independent artist to get noiminated for a grammy for best Americana album, without a manager, label or publicist. View the trailer here. $15
Saturday April 9th 2:30 pm–“A Good Life–the Joe Gruschecky Story”, followed by a Q & A with Joe. View the trailer here. $10
