Backward Glances at the Festhalle

Visit the roof of the Asbury Festhalle & Biegarten on December 9th. Backward Glances will be there with our Christmas pop up market!

A weihnachtsmarkt  (or Christmas market) is a European holiday tradition originating from Germany, Italy, Austria and France. The history of the markets goes back to the middle ages.  There has been a December market in Vienna since 1294. The markets offer food, drink, and handcrafted goods. This is the 3rd year for the festhalle’s rooftop weihnachtsmarkt  in Asbury Park.

There will be over 25 vendors, artisanal gifts, specialty foods, handcrafted toys and lots of holiday cheer!  We’ll be there  for one day only with our ugly Christmas sweaters, silly Christmas hats, retro posters gifts, and unique jewelry. It’s SantaCon day in Asbury Park, so if you come into town without a costume, head up to the roof to pick up some holiday apparel from the Backward Glances elves.
