Visit Downtown Asbury Park for our holiday happenings!

The Downtown Asbury Park Merchants guild is sponsoring four weekends of holiday happening throughout the downtown. And parking will be free every Saturday from 11/26 to December 24th from 12 pm to 6 pm!

SATURDAY 11/26: The festivities start on Saturday, November 26th on Small Business Saturday.  Shop small and shop local. Join us and Santa for the tree lighting in Merchants Park at 5:00 pm, with live music.  Classic holiday movies will be projected onto the former location of the Upstage Club at the corner of Cookman and Bond.

FRIDAY 12/2: Krampus Film Festival at the Showroom; Holiday photos with Yeti at Paranormal Books and Curiosities

SATURDAY 12/3: Krampus events and parade 12 pm to 6 pm; It’s also coat & toy drive for those in need.

SUNDAY 12/11: Snowflake Hunt–fun for the kiddies from 1 pm to 4 pm. Start at Fitness Lifestyles, 614 Cookman Ave., Kids receive their secret number and have to search the downtown to find the store with the matching number for a prize! Backward Glances will be just one of the stores on the hunt. Kids, adults and pets can also take selfies with Santa at Fitness Lifestyles. it’s also food and coat drive weekend: don’t forget to bring a warm coat or a can of food.

THURSDAY 12/15: Ladies Night–4 pm until closing. Many local businesses will be staying open late.  Backward Glances will be offering 15% off all ladies vintage clothing (excluding Christmas sweaters; they are special enough!). Hot Mess Studio will be having a party with refreshments and hair & makeup primping special for $57 and many  15% off specials. More special deals all around the downtown! Look for the aqua bows on the doors of participating merchants.

Ladies can also post pictures of items they want for Christmas with the hashtag #alliwantap so their guys can come back and purchase on Gent’s night 12/16.

SATURDAY 12/17: Chill Out Holiday Shopping day all over the downtown–a day for adults to shop! The Shoppes at the Arcade will be having a caroling choir on the lower level at 3 p.m.

SUNDAY 12/18: The Shoppes at the Arcade will be hosting Winter Photoland, with free holiday photos and free treats!
