Light of Day / Asbury Underground

It’s time for Light of Day 2016, the yearly music festival to raise money for Parkinson’s Disease.  Light Of Day Winterfest will be held all over Asbury Park from January 10th to January 17th.

The Light of Day Foundation once again has invited Asbury Underground to produce another free  Art and Music Crawl in downtown Asbury Park. It will take place on Saturday afternoon, January 16^th and new this year, an added Sunday, January 17^th.  This years’ event will feature 32 performances by musicians and/or bands, with the focus on original music, and singer/songwriters, playing in 16 locations, including Backward Glances.

We’re excited to be the new home of Up Joe’s Alley, a free afternoon of music and art curated by Joe Harvard, on Saturday January 16th. The schedule for the afternoon is:

1:00 pm: Media Center/Boys and Girls Club
1:30 pm: Marc Davis
2:00 pm: Jon Francis
2:40 pm: Daughter Vision
3:15 pm: Shawn Mars
3:50 pm: Puppy Grease
4:25 pm: Joe Harvard is Doctor Danger

We’ll also have the return of Asbury Bites: free samples from one of Asbury Park’s yummy restaurants from 1 to 4 pm.
